Revere commission approves three liquor-license transfers for restaurants and hotel

The Revere Licensing Commission approved three license transfers during its December meeting, clearing two restaurant transfers and a hotel ownership change.
Halal Eats Inc., doing business as Halal Eats, won approval to operate at 750 Washington Avenue with seating for 20 and hours of 11 a.m.–9 p.m. Sunday through Thursday and 11 a.m.–10 p.m. on Fridays and Saturdays. Sarfaraz Ginola, vice president of Halal Eats, said the Revere location will offer the same menu as an existing Burlington site.
Royale Kitchen and Bar Inc. received the commission’s OK to transfer an all-alcohol restaurant license to operate at 260 Broadway with seating to remain at 66, operating hours 10 a.m.–midnight daily and permitted entertainment including widescreen TV, DJ and karaoke. Juan Jaramillo, who appeared for the transfer, said the incoming operator will change the restaurant’s cuisine but keep the prior operating pattern.
Summit Hotel TRS 192 LLC’s application to transfer an all-alcohol in-holder license for the Hampton Inn Revere included approval of a related management agreement and a pledge of the license to Bank of America to finance the hotel purchase. Elizabeth Pisano, counsel for the buyer, said there will be no operational change at the property; Kamal Kareeb is the proposed manager of record.
Each application drew brief questions from commissioners and no public opposition. The board moved and approved each transfer during the meeting.
The commission’s communications section later included routine ABCC notices of other approvals and transfers unrelated to these items.
