Miss Monica Gomez, the city's intern director of finance, presented the request and said the food court currently has seven food trucks and has operated for about three years. "They are proposing to sell alcoholic beverages as complement of those food served at the park," Gomez said, and staff recommended approval subject to requirements in the attached report and the planning and zoning commission's recommendation.
During questions, staff confirmed the applicant would comply with the conditions and that alcohol would be served from a food truck in the park. Staff also said public notice had been sent to eight property owners and that no public comments in favor or against the request had been received. A motion to approve passed by voice vote with 'Aye' recorded.
