Jason Bowers, an architect and White Place resident who said his home is one of the town's oldest houses, described two decades at Anim Architects focusing on adaptive reuse, municipal projects and procurement. He said his experience with bidding, contractor coordination and larger municipal projects could benefit Brookline building work.
Philip Stegman appeared online and described work aligning education, health and youth programs; he co‑petitioned Article 21 (a town resolution on thriving children and youth) and proposed a toolkit of evidence‑based practices to help youth programs promote connectedness and belonging. Board members questioned concrete strategies and representation; Stegman recommended technical assistance and frameworks for local youth providers.
The Select Board indicated appointments will be decided at a later date and that staff would follow up with applicants.
