The Village of New Lenox sent recommended conditions after the staff report was published; committee members debated including those conditions and agreed to incorporate them with a modification: vehicles related to the light equipment sales and rental must be parked on a hard surface, while landscape trailers may be stored on asphalt chips in a designated area.

An applicant representative said full paving of the entire 1.4‑acre parcel was cost‑prohibitive but agreed to pavement where vehicles are displayed for sale and to the amended condition. After a brief discussion and a revised motion to incorporate New Lenox’s conditions as amended, the committee approved the special use and the modified conditions.
