William Siegel of Twin Construction told the board the project will add a bedroom and bathroom to a two-story house by building straight up on the existing left-side footprint, which is nonconforming at roughly 7.7 feet. Siegel said engineering has confirmed the addition can be set back as required and that no downstairs work is involved.
Board members noted the plans stack over the existing structure and do not extend the foundation. Speaker 6 moved to approve the case and Speaker 13 seconded; the board recorded affirmative votes from the members present and the motion carried.
