Sebastian Orbach, a committee member helping coordinate the project, said, “I'm very, very kind of both excited and anxious to see the final product.”
Officials said they will invite the mayor and parks representatives, confirm the attendance of contractors and designers who worked on the piece, and prepare a press release and event photos for local media. The committee plans to stage a modest reception at the park and noted the possibility of using an Airstream trailer and other display elements at the opening.
