The Hoover City Council adopted the consent agenda at its Dec. 8 meeting, approving a bundle of routine resolutions read aloud by the City Attorney.
Items approved include a resolution authorizing the mayor to execute an unmanned aircraft insurance policy with Global Aerospace; a resolution authorizing an agreement with the Jefferson County Commission for the Senior Center Nutrition Grant; an agreement with the University of Alabama at Birmingham to place student interns in the Parks & Recreation Department at the Hoover Senior Center; a budget amendment for the fiscal year ending Sept. 30, 2025 to fund Hoover Met bullpen renovations and sewer line installation; and two related Pinnacle Towers LLC items: a fifth-amendment antenna-site lease schedule agreement and a fourth amendment to a government-entity tower license agreement. The consent agenda was moved, seconded and approved by voice vote.
These items were presented as routine consent items and passed without separate debate.
