The resolution allows reimbursement of up to $3,229.58 for reasonable legal fees at a maximum rate of $325 per hour, payable upon submission of supporting documentation to the finance department. Councilor McClinton was recorded as having stepped out of the room and abstained from the discussion and vote.
A councilor moved and another seconded the motion; the council approved the resolution by voice vote. Council members offered brief remarks calling the item “a long time in coming” before the voice vote.
The finance department was directed to process the reimbursement after the required documentation is submitted.
