At its year‑end meeting New Franklin City Council approved a slate of year‑end resolutions and moved forward with several procedural items related to the city code and grant applications.

On public‑safety equipment, council authorized Resolution 25R78 allowing the city to apply for the Ohio Fire Marshal’s equipment grant to replace four vehicle‑mounted mobile radios (total grant request: $17,003.69; the grant would cover approximately $15,000 and the city’s share about $2,369). On ordinances, the council advanced Ordinance 25‑0008, a comprehensive compilation of the city’s code of ordinances.
