Police procurement and generator RFQ: Deputy Chief Fellows requested purchase authorization for a 2025 Ford Interceptor Utility and a 2025 Chevrolet Trailblazer from Carl Automotive Group for a total of $69,124; council approved waiving the sealed-bid process and the purchase on a roll-call vote. The council also authorized seeking a request-for-qualifications for a police-department rooftop generator.
Resolutions and routine approvals: Council voted to certify a public-question resolution directing the city clerk to send a term-limits ballot question (amended to include the city treasurer) to the Cook County Clerk for a future election.
