The Mahoning County Board of Commissioners approved multiple agreements and bid records covering printing, wastewater plant equipment, GIS services and a sidewalk tree-removal contract.
County staff presented four agreements: a printing and mailing contract with City Printing for the county newsletter (estimated $43,808.95, charged to the general fund); a mechanical contract with Western Reserve Mechanical to install a hot-water boiler pump at the Camel Wastewater Treatment Plant ($6,554, non-general); an agreement with Great Lakes Community Action Partnership for GPS data collection and GIS mapping for the Metro Water District ($6,798, non-general); and a purchase from Ohio Van and Truck Supply to install a truck cap and sliding rack on a Ford F-250 ($5,937.50, non-general). The board moved, seconded and approved the agreements by roll call.
Sanitary staff reported two bid awards: a transformer rebuild at the Meander Wastewater Treatment Plant (3260 Main Street, Mineral Ridge) to Sunbelt Solman Services, and Phase 2 digester/aeration/settling improvements (7980 East Park Drive, Boardman Township) to Workman Industrial Services and APO Whara Company.
Grants management presented a resolution awarding the North Wickliffe Neighborhood Sidewalk Improvements Phase A tree-removal contract to Wilshek Tree Service LLC as the low bid in the amount of $94,000 (non-general). That award was moved, seconded and approved by roll call.
No dissenting votes or amendments were recorded in the transcript. Staff will proceed with contract execution and project scheduling per standard procurement procedures.
