City employees honored; award recipients urge community to avoid impaired driving

Speaker 3, who identified as a law enforcement officer with the Mission Police Department, praised teamwork and department programs, citing DRE training, a nurse on duty during weekends, and a “no refusal” practice as parts of the department’s approach. Speaker 3 said those resources help the department be “one of the top” agencies in the state and described receiving the department’s Employer/Employee of the Month recognition as “a great recognition to me.”
