Public works committee to rebid Skyview water main; council praises snow-removal crews

At the Dec. 16 public works committee meeting, Director Gerson said the city will bring a motion to rebid the Skyview water main project and that staff would provide more direction when the item reaches the full council.
Council members used the opportunity to thank Director Brian and his crews for their response to a recent heavy snowfall. Council person Stetsky (and other members) noted they received no resident complaints about snow removal, and Costanza said the department deserved recognition for its work.
There was no vote on the Skyview water main project during the committee meeting; Gerson said he would provide more information at the time the council considers the rebid motion.
