Pathway(s) Credit Union presented a $3,000 donation to the Seven Hills Shop with a Cop program during the committee meeting, Mayor Biaseata said.
Dan Summers, introduced by the mayor as a representative of Pathway(s), described the credit union’s local roots: “So, again, we're with Pathways Financial Credit Union... Solaris went through a merger, back in May, and Pathways acquired us,” he said, adding that the credit union “is very involved in all their local communities” and hopes to “continue this partnership.” Nicole Shelby, also introduced at the podium, was noted to have personal ties to law enforcement through her husband.
The ceremonial check for $3,000 was displayed to the audience. Mayor Biaseata thanked the partners and said the city looks forward to working with them again in December.
The donation was presented as part of an evening of community recognitions and does not require council action.
