The Limestone County Commission approved a slate of routine administrative and economic-development actions at its Dec. 1 meeting, voting unanimously on each item.
The commission approved payment of claims totaling $1,523,393.38 and adopted a resolution to participate in the county's back-to-school sales tax holiday. Commissioners also approved a tax abatement for North Alabama Laser Fab Incorporated; the meeting record shows the motion was moved and seconded and passed unanimously.
Other approved items included a 36-month lease for a copier at the archives with Laossi Group through LEAF Capital Funding and a contract with SHI for cloud-based telephone services. The commission also approved a single budget revision listed in the meeting packet.
