Mayor Mueller highlights holiday events, local drives and a new house completed with county land bank support

Mayor Mueller also thanked sponsors and volunteers for the city’s Christmas festival and parade and called out the Placo Center for donating trees to residents. He said the city, working with the Mahoning County Land Bank and other partners, cut the ribbon on a new house at 42 Wilson Street in Struthers. "Construction for this home began in June and is now ready for homeowners," he said, adding the house is 1,409 square feet with three bedrooms and two bathrooms and that the project was built by Joe Cove Construction with assistance from a county land bank grant through the state Welcome Home program.
