Hands On offers postoperative rehabilitation for knee and hip replacements, rotator cuff repairs and other surgeries, as well as treatment for carpal tunnel, balance problems and general weakness. Toth said the clinic staffs three licensed physical therapists and five licensed physical therapy assistants, and that some assistants have worked there since the business opened in 2003.
On access, Toth said the clinic provides free rides to patients who lack transportation; there is a one-time transportation waiver to sign. "We will come get you," she said, naming transportation as a core part of the clinic’s community service.
Toth clarified the clinic’s pediatric services: Struthers treats pediatric orthopedic injuries and fractures but does not have a pediatric specialist on-site for infants. She noted Hands On maintains an additional office in Alliance with a pediatric therapist who treats conditions such as torticollis.
She also noted long-standing local relationships with physician offices and said the oldest patient treated at the clinic was 104. The clinic runs community initiatives including Toys for Tots and a food drive where donations are both collected and made available to residents in need.
