The board also approved a visiting-author contract for Justin Cohen on March 23, 2026, paid from Central Elementary site media funds, and an agreement with Chatterbox Speech Therapy LLC to provide evaluations and therapy at $70 per hour for the remainder of the 2025-26 school year to cover increased caseloads following a resignation.
Operations and partnership approvals included reaffirming student-capacity limits and open-transfer allowances (7.1); approving a memorandum of understanding with the City of Bixby Police Department to support up to three potential School Resource Officer positions beginning in 2026-27 (7.2); approving a concurrent-enrollment MOU with OSU IT for 2025-26 (7.3); and approving a routine MOU with the Muscogee (Creek) Nation to provide summer EBT grocery support for qualifying families (7.4). The board also declared assorted items surplus for disposal under Oklahoma statute (7.5).
Finally, the board voted to move into executive session to discuss the purchase and/or appraisal of certain real property pursuant to 25 O.S. ' section 307(B)(3).
