Bannock County swears in fair-board member and accepts $250 offer for Downey parcel

Zachary Paul Dam was sworn in as a member of the Bannock County Fair Board during the commission meeting. Earlier in the meeting Christy Davenport presented a $250 offer from a member of the public to purchase a Downey parcel that had previously been offered at last year’s auction. Davenport said the parcel was "old enough that they didn't have any tax history on it" and that it could start at whatever the prior bid had been. An unidentified commissioner moved to accept the $250 offer for parcel Partial RPRDCPD005210; the board voted aye to approve and staff told the buyer to come to the county office to complete the sale.
The swearing-in and property acceptance were handled as routine business; no appeals or objections were recorded on the minutes.
