La Porte City board approves claims, removes State Street bench and reviews snow‑removal coordination

The La Porte City board met Dec. 8 at 5 p.m. and approved the November meeting minutes and the claims submitted for payment. Members voted to remove a bench on State Street in front of Happy Frog Soap, discussed recent snow‑removal work and invoices, and heard from a contractor who said she is coordinating clearing work with city staff.
