Board approves new website-hosting contract and ADA/security remediation work

He said the initial remediation and migration would cost about $7,135 (which includes a one-time security cleanup) and recurring maintenance would be roughly $4,635 per year thereafter.
Board members asked how often security remediation would be necessary; Hoffman said the $7,135 includes a one-time cleaning and that ongoing maintenance would address ADA compliance and future fixes without an a la carte charge. The Clerk Treasurer confirmed a conflict-of-interest statement is on file for transparency.
The board moved and approved the contract; members cited ADA compliance deadlines and prior state resources for accessibility guidance.
Next steps: vendor to begin remediation and onboarding; staff will monitor costs and confirm ADA compliance milestones by the target timeframe discussed at the presentation.
