Code enforcement board: decisions, fines and deadlines at a glance

At its Dec. 10 meeting the Municipal Code Enforcement Board for the City of Temple Terrace removed three paid‑permit cases from the agenda after staff reported the fees had been paid, found violations in multiple properties, and set compliance deadlines and per‑day fines for noncompliance.

Early in the meeting staff told the board that the rental permit fees for the cases 25‑500052 (12912 Arbor Isle Dr. #204), 25‑500076 (108 Mission Hills Ave.), and 25‑500091 (7513 Leon Ave.) had been paid; the board voted to remand those matters to the department and remove them from the evening's calendar.

The board took formal action on a number of contested or presented cases. Notable rulings included:

• Case 25‑2041 (8722 Coral Dawn Ct.): The board found a violation for a tarped roof and ordered the property corrected by Jan. 14, 2026; a $25 per day fine was set for continued noncompliance.

• Case 25‑0402 (12112 N. 56th St.): The board found a damaged marquee sign in violation of sign‑maintenance code and set compliance by Jan. 14, 2026 with a $50 per day fine.

• Case 25‑3116 (5116 E. 122nd Ave.): A front chain‑link fence was found in disrepair; the board ordered correction by Jan. 14, 2026 with a $25 per day fine.

• Case 25‑3640 (5307 Rainbow Dr.): The board found peeling/chipping exterior walls and a tarped roof in violation and ordered correction by Jan. 14, 2026 with a $50 per day fine (board adjusted motion to a total of $50 per day).

In unfinished business staff recited several other properties with compliance deadlines that expire at midnight, and noted affidavits of compliance or payments in certain cases.
