"Right now, we have 1000 kids in Henry County alone enrolled," King said of Dolly Parton’s Imagination Library, citing local enrollment and partner support from the Henry County Community Foundation and the health department.
King explained pledge options for an employee campaign (payroll deductions per pay period, monthly or one-time contributions) and said pledge forms let donors select specific nonprofit partners to receive funds. She offered printed materials for commissioners and said United Way can work with county HR to implement payroll deductions where desired.
Commissioners thanked the presenter and asked for follow-up on logistics. No formal action was required at the meeting; King left materials for staff review.
