Facilities committee enters executive session to consider employee salary schedules
Summary
After business on the Elias air-handler RFP, the committee voted to enter executive session under Illinois law to consider salary schedules for one or more employee classes; specified county officials were asked to remain present.
Following the public portion of the meeting and the failed RFP authorization, the Champaign County facilities committee moved into executive session to consider salary schedules for one or more classes of employees under 5 ILCS 120/2(c)(2).
The motion named interim facilities director Michelle Jett, recording secretary Kate Cusio, county board chair Jen Locke and county executive Steve Summers to remain present for the closed session. The motion was seconded and approved by voice vote. No substantive salary actions were announced in open session after the executive-session motion.
The committee recessed into closed session at the end of the open agenda items as allowed under state statute.
