Charles Bonnet, technology-education teacher and department chair, guided the board through the newly renovated technology and engineering suite and described the project as a collaboration among students, staff and facilities teams. Bonnet thanked James Gavling (buildings and grounds), Liz Stearns (business office) and Andrew Gillian (tech support) for their roles in the renovation and said the spaces were designed to keep pace with educational tools and allow for future growth.
Bonnet said the suite is still finishing loose ends but that teachers and students are already using the spaces for projects. He invited board members and attendees to tour the suite and noted that safety signage and precautions would be observed as the tour proceeded. The superintendent and board members praised the work and expressed excitement about student learning opportunities in the renovated spaces.
No formal vote was associated with the presentation; the board received the update and accepted staff’s invitation to tour the spaces.
