Saint Mary’s School seeks $30,800 from RDC; board agrees to amend fundable-project list

An unidentified commissioner noted counsel had confirmed the RDC can fund such items and moved to approve the request; another commissioner seconded the motion.
Board members then discussed that the RDC’s current list of fundable projects references specific schools and that a formal amendment to the plan or project list would be appropriate to avoid repeating individual approvals. The RDC voted by voice to amend its list of fundable projects and directed staff to start the amendment process so items such as the Saint Mary’s request can be processed under the revised policy.
