Boyle County’s fiscal court used its Nov. 25 meeting to complete routine consent business and approve several procurement steps.
The court approved the Nov. 10 minutes and voted to pay bills totaling $202,139.98. Treasurer Shannon Green presented budget transfers totaling $253,004.71 and a cash transfer of $500,000 from an interest‑bearing account to the general fund; transfers to the jail, EMS and fleet were described and approved by voice vote.
Recycling director Angie Muncy received permission to advertise for bids to purchase an EPS (styrofoam) densifier under a grant; the court agreed to advertise the procurement. The court also approved advertising a bid for a new ambulance (2027 delivery) and heard several staff introductions and community recognitions, including student awardees and new employees.
The judge noted upcoming holiday closures for the courthouse and convenience centers and the court adjourned after magistrate reports and committee updates.
