Superintendent Doctor Horrell opened his report by recognizing students and coaches for successes in the high-school cross-country program.
He called multiple students by name — including Max Adriano, Elaine Faubacher, George Elkins, Tatum Madden, Matthew Norman, Charles Snyder, Sebastian Booter, Gabe Russell, Macy Hale, Christina Moreno, Cameron Miller, Victoria Santiago and others — to receive certificates and to have their photos taken. Horrell thanked the coaches, noting he was especially grateful for "dedicated coaches, every step of the way" and singled out Coach Kelly and Coach Grady for recognition.
The superintendent invited families to remain for certificates and photos and reminded anyone needing forms for honors-diploma requests that staff were available at the table.
