Speaker 1 opened the meeting and called for approval of minutes before introducing the first surplus package from the circuit court. Commissioners confirmed the budget committee had already reviewed the lists and that items classified as sensitive (drugs) had been removed. Speaker 1 asked whether equipment had been replaced; participants confirmed replacements such as updated light tubing.
After discussion, a motion to approve the circuit court surplus was made and seconded; the commission recorded a voice vote in favor. Later in the meeting Speaker 1 introduced an additional surplus list from the chancery court, saying Miss Kelly and Clint asked that it be presented. Speaker 1 stated the items were old and upgraded, and the commission again voted by voice to approve the chancery court package.
