CMSD board work session approves consent agenda; minutes and resolutions adopted

CLEVELAND — The Cleveland Metropolitan School District board approved the work session consent agenda during the Dec. 2 session.
Chair Ellicott entertained a motion to approve the consent agenda consisting of items 4.02 through 5.03. An unnamed board member moved and another seconded. Mr. Stockdale called the roll: Miss Aucott?, Mister Billups?, Mister Briggs?, Miss Jones?, Missus Lebron?, Missus Peake?, Doctor Sridhar?, and Missus Walsh Howe? all answered "Yes." The motion passed with eight votes; the minutes were approved and the listed resolutions were adopted.
The board indicated additional resolutions in finance, academics and culture will be considered as part of the Dec. 9 board business meeting.
