At its December meeting, Concord Township Council approved multiple capital payments, accepted municipal dedications of infrastructure and authorized a grant request to support community center revitalization.
Staff listed four certificates for payment: a final payment to Jurek Inc. of $199,368.90 for the sewer ultraviolet disinfection upgrade; final payment to Stonewood Landshaping Inc. for $131,300 for Carter Way stream bank restoration; Certificate #2 to You Lofting Timber Framing for $104,333 for barn preservation at Bush Hill Farm; and Certificate #3 to Guy M. Cooper Inc. for $56,547 for the sewer plant fire suppression system. Council voted to approve these payments and authorized advertising bids for construction of a new salt storage facility for Public Works.
Council also approved a resolution accepting a deed of dedication from J and V Developers for sanitary sewer lines and related infrastructure on Featherbed Lane, formalizing township ownership and maintenance responsibilities for the improvements (folio numbers cited in staff materials).
Separately, the council approved Resolution No. 42 of 2025 authorizing a request of $819,000 from the Commonwealth’s Statewide Local Share Assessment grant program to support a Concord Community Center revitalization project. Council moved, seconded and approved the grant request by voice vote.
Staff described the payments and dedications as closing out long‑running projects and clearing items before the year end; the grant request will now be submitted to the Commonwealth for consideration.
