Consent agenda: Two consent items — authorization to auction surplus property and a re‑subdivision contract for Lot 27 in the JD and JA Kearney Subdivision — were read into the record, motioned and seconded, and passed unanimously, 6–0.
Resolution 44‑25 (recycling grant): The finance director explained that the Tennessee Department of Environment and Conservation awarded a recycling grant of $15,301.32 to the city to be appropriated into the FY2026 solid waste fund for recycling purposes. The resolution to accept and appropriate the funds passed 6–0; the staff report said the resolution accepts the revenue and appropriates necessary funds.
