The Middleton Airport Commission moved to accept the May financial review and approved the report by voice vote.
A commission member moved to accept the financial review "as presented," and the motion was seconded by Randall. The chair called for those in favor, and members responded "Aye," concluding the agenda item.
After the vote, commissioners reviewed upcoming events (a June 14 airport event and an August car show likely to require permits), noted the commission would likely skip a July meeting because the next monthly meeting date fell on the July 4 holiday and instead meet in August, and discussed adding a future agenda item to amend the comprehensive plan to promote the airport as a community space.
Members also recognized Mark Opitz on his last day with the city, praising his advocacy for preserving the airport and wishing him well in retirement. The commission welcomed Commissioner Hoban and then adjourned.
