The Village of Lisle Board unanimously approved its consent agenda on Dec. 15, including the village—s tax levy for fiscal year 2025—'26 and several procurement and administrative items.
Village Manager Cook summarized the consent package, which included: approval of meeting minutes; a $969,395.50 invoice list; acknowledgment of the monthly treasurer's report for November 2025; a resolution authorizing payment of invoices under the Illinois Prompt Payment Act when meetings are canceled or rescheduled; an ordinance setting the village—s tax levy at $4,933,317 (an increase of $9,188 reflecting growth from new construction); resolution and housekeeping items concerning closed-session minutes and record destruction; authorization of a $26,000 agreement with JMS Environmental Associates; ordinances increasing the number of class 2 and class 6 liquor licenses to allow issuance to two named businesses; and two Axon agreements—one for body-worn cameras and related software/licenses and a second five-year subscription agreement for fleet and interview-room camera systems not to exceed $190,329.
After a motion and second, the board approved the package on a roll-call vote. Staff recommended approval and explained that the village—s portion of property taxes makes up roughly 5% of a resident—s total property-tax bill; other taxing districts determine the remainder.
The ordinance abating certain 2025 taxes for 2016 general obligation refunding bonds was included in the consent items. The board did not remove any consent items for separate discussion at the Dec. 15 meeting.
