CFBISD trustees allocate votes for county appraisal district boards

On the Denton Central Appraisal District ballot (agenda item 6c), the board considered whether to split its 39 votes among nominees and discussed a prior October board nomination of Mike Hannifer. Trustee Kim Brady moved to cast all 39 votes for Mike Hannifer; the motion was seconded and carried by voice vote, 7–0. Trustees briefly discussed practicalities of splitting votes before making the motion.
Both ballot items were routine intergovernmental actions described on the meeting packet; board members framed the votes as part of the statutory process for appointing appraisal-district directors. The board did not provide additional public comment on the candidates’ biographies during the meeting.
