Recreation manager warns clubs: include setup time in reservations; no-shows may incur charges

Casey warned that there have been "no call, no shows" across multiple clubs and that the recreation leads are charging clubs for such occurrences; "it could be a minimum of $50," Casey said, adding that leads have discretion to set the fee based on setup needs.
Casey also listed upcoming administrative dates and community events: a treasurers meeting at 10 a.m. on Dec. 5, club inventories on Dec. 31, club financial submissions due Feb. 15, reservations opening in May and Theater West's show beginning Jan. 13. Casey said the redline RRMPs will be emailed and posted to the hub and urged incoming officers to meet with scheduling staff (Laura and Donna) to confirm next-year dates.
The committee encouraged clubs to share community service activities with liaisons so those efforts can be recognized. No formal action was taken on scheduling or fee policy at this meeting; Casey's statements were presented as operational guidance and a reminder to club officers.
