The plan includes hiring nine grant staff and eight GEAR UP advisors to coordinate school‑level services, and the grant will directly serve about 4,100 students annually across 28 schools.
Presenters listed higher‑education and national partners engaged in the grant and said program implementation will begin with a January kickoff and the launch of a Team GEAR UP advisory committee.
