The committee approved administration’s recommendation to grant limited-term conservation easements between Milwaukee Public Schools, the City of Milwaukee, and the Milwaukee Metropolitan Sewerage District. Director Zombor moved approval and the motion passed unanimously among the four directors present.
Superintendent Brenda Caselli and interim facilities chief Mike Terza presented the request, explaining the easements would be in favor of the regional sewerage district and involve coordination between the city and the district. Committee members asked no substantive questions before the roll call.
The action authorizes the conservation easements as set forth in the board item; staff did not note any immediate budgetary impact in committee.
