Trustees updated the board on two local infrastructure projects.
The District 1 trustee said residents reported sidewalks torn up by NYCHA insulation work; the trustee said most insulation work is complete and restoration will begin in the next few weeks to ensure sidewalks are safe and passable for trick-or-treaters.
The District 6 trustee summarized a town-hall discussion about the Pye field renovation, saying construction is scheduled to begin Monday, Nov. 3, and warning of construction traffic and fencing. The trustee said the project is expected to remove approximately 8,709 truckloads of dirt and that more project details and contact information are available on the village website.
Trustees encouraged residents to consult the village project page for contact information and further updates.
