At Monday's meeting the Village Board approved multiple routine and land-use items on motions carried by unanimous roll call votes.
The consent agenda (minutes, accounts-payable summary and the October community-development report) passed on a motion and second. The board accepted the Planning & Zoning Commission's recommendation to approve a combined ordinance for UGL's special-use requests at 275 S. Route 31 (truck sales, continued truck repair and outdoor storage), subject to conditions such as hours of operation and removal of an adjacent sales trailer.
The board also approved rezoning petitions for 4834 and 4822 Baseline Road so the two single-family homes would be placed in an R1 district, returning them to residential zoning after a previous comprehensive rezoning placed them in a nonconforming M1 district. Staff said the Planning & Zoning Commission held hearings on Nov. 6 and recommended approval for both items. Several procedural items, including waivers of first reading for certain ordinances, were also moved and approved.
All recorded votes on the covered items were unanimous in the transcript record.
