Staff said the village resurfaced 19 streets and two parking lots and replaced roughly 55,404 square yards of asphalt. The village reported 4,510 sidewalk squares replaced and about 1,452.9 square yards of driveway apron replaced, 10,741 feet of curb, 1,547 feet of storm sewer, 2,697 feet of water main, and installation or replacement of seven new storm structures. The sidewalk program received a $300,000 grant and the village contributed approximately $250,000 toward sidewalk replacement. The street program cost was cited as roughly $4,500,000 and total infrastructure spending for the year was described in the meeting as about $6–6.5 million; staff noted the treatment plant is a separate capital program and not included in that total.
Board members thanked staff for the work and for community patience as projects were completed; trustees asked for cost-context, and staff provided the notional totals during the exchange.
What’s next: The village continues its stated 15‑year road turnover program and will return with scheduling and project updates as work continues into the next construction season.
