Speaker 3, who said he had consulted with attorneys after taking office, asked whether the legal advice supported dissolution; Speaker 1 confirmed the statute envisions dissolving a public building commission after its bond issues are retired. "This 1 obviously was created back in 1965," Speaker 1 said, adding that the commission had been refunded in the early 2000s for an additional project.
