Grand County board forwards four candidates to commission after interviews

Jen Sadoff, chief executive officer of Moab Regional Hospital, said she is "invested in our workforce development and in creating opportunities for people who work here to grow, and opportunities for them to stay here." Sadoff highlighted her grant-management experience and the hospital's role as a major local employer when board members discussed workforce needs.
Aaron Lindbergh, who serves on the planning commission and operates a plumbing business, told the board he "is in the thick of the struggle" on housing and wages: he described being a homeowner who shares housing with roommates and said those experiences inform how zoning and planning choices affect economic opportunity.
Other applicants included Shaylee Bryant (Edward Jones), Britney Melton (local business owner) and Sarah Barstow (workforce-development applicant interviewed earlier). Board members repeatedly praised the depth of applicants and said the pool made the choices difficult.
