The board discussed that providing a formal letter increases the applicants’ competitiveness for state affordable housing tax credits because local support is a scoring factor in those applications.
A motion to approve the letter was made and the board approved it by voice vote with no recorded opposition. Staff will prepare the signed document and deliver it to the land trust for inclusion with its tax credit application.
