SPENCER, Ind. — The Owen County Board of Zoning Appeals on Thursday took a brief procedural action to correct an earlier decision on a Debreu variance (case no. 2025‑11).

Staff notified the board that the applicant had requested a 40‑ to 60‑foot setback from the road but that the board’s prior motion had approved only a 60‑foot buffer, omitting the 40‑foot authorization. A board member moved to amend the approval to include the 40‑foot setback; the motion was seconded and approved by consensus.

The board opened and closed the public portion of the item with no substantive public comment and recorded the amendment for the minutes.

The action was administrative and procedural in nature; staff will update the official permit records and meeting minutes to reflect the corrected setback authorization.
