Director Veres said the city expects to pay down $120,000 in principal.

- Ordinance 82-20-25 (adopted): Amendment #3 to the current expenses and expenditures for 2025, adding line items including $45,000 for fuel, $25,000 for senior programming and $35,000 for state court fees; staff reported collections are up about 7.42% over last year.
- Ordinance 84-20-25 (adopted): Current compensation schedule for non-union employees, including moving a senior coordinator to Parks & Recreation with no pay increase, and related staffing adjustments.
- Resolution 83-20-25 (adopted): Confirmation of Michael Varhola to the Macedonia Planning Commission to fill the vacancy left by Tony Cox.
What failed
- Ordinance 51-20-25 (failed): Proposed amendments to chapters 11.63 and 11.71 related to new residential driveways and parking were put to a vote and failed after voice vote returned “Nay.”
What remains under study
- Ordinance 85-20-25 (first reading): Proposed changes to section 505.16 concerning the raising, boarding, breeding and maximum number of cats (and potentially combined animal limits). Council members discussed raising the suggested cap for cats and indicated the measure will return with possible amendments.
- Ordinance 86-20-25 (first reading): Creation of a short-term rentals code (chapter 7.83); council waived notice for first reading and asked for further community input in 2026.
