Terrace Park swears in two volunteer EMS members, council thanks new recruits

The Village of Terrace Park council on March 19 swore in two new volunteer emergency medical services members appointed by the mayor.
Christine Colgan and Rishon Mannegan each repeated the oath of office before council. Colgan was introduced as a call taker for Cincinnati dispatch, and Mannegan was identified as a paramedic who works full time in the Dayton area. Council moved the resolution confirming the mayor’s appointments and adopted it as an emergency; the mayor and other members welcomed the new volunteers and thanked them for joining the department.
Council members thanked Chief Hayhoe and staff for their partnership in recruitment and noted the value of volunteers to local EMS coverage.
