The Village of Terrace Park council approved appointments to the volunteer Emergency Medical Services department and administered the oath to the new volunteers on Oct. 8.
Council member Lehman moved to advance Resolution 10-20-24, which consents to the mayor’s appointments of Isha (listed in the record as Isha Bandori/Bahandri) and Ria (listed as Ria Cadono/Cadando) to the volunteer EMS department. A second was recorded and council members voted in favor; the motion was adopted as an emergency.
Following the vote the two appointees were sworn in. Each recited the oath, including the commitment "to the best of my ability will discharge the duties of emergency medical technician for the Village of Terrace Park, Ohio." Mayor and council congratulated the new volunteers.
The appointments were processed under Resolution 10-20-24 and the swearing-in concluded the council's formal action on the item. The council did not record objections on the public record during the vote.
