New Key Spot Event Center owner invites Woodlawn residents to March 6 grand opening

She said the largest area in the venue can hold about 50 people and that the grand opening is scheduled for March 6 from 4 p.m. to 7 p.m., with cultural food offerings and tours of the facility.
McAllister also said she operates an IT company and a nationwide mobile app called Key Spot that connects and markets small businesses; patrons of the app receive discounts at the event center. She distributed handouts to council and encouraged residents to book the space for community events.
Council members welcomed McAllister to the village and invited her to work with municipal staff if she needed support.
