A component of the grant also funds extended school-hours after-school programs at multiple campuses and specific early-reading and special-education summer offerings. Board members asked for clarifications about components and approved the plan as presented.
Board approval allows staff to proceed with implementing the grant plan and to execute related contracts and renewals listed in the packet. Board members said the funding provides needed internal capacity to move academic work forward.
